OH NO! VvCompHelpvV In Danger! --MAJOR Renovation

Today I got an email from YouTube:

Hi,

While reviewing your videos, we noticed that many contain third-party
sponsorships.  Videos uploaded to YouTube should be free and clear of any
third-party advertisements and sponsored content.  The partnership
contract states:

You shall not include any promotions, sponsorships, or other
advertisements (except for those promoting your own products or services)
as part of Provider Content.  If any such ads are included as part of
Provider Content, Google may elect not to serve advertisements that would
be subject to the revenue share in Section 4.1 or may remove the Provider
Content.

Our aim is to build this partnership in a way that allows you to provide
some of your great content, for YouTube to provide distribution and
audience and for both of us to share in the revenue.  The inclusion of
third-party advertisements poses problems for our advertisers who may want
to run ads against your content.  For example, consider content including
an embedded sponsorship that ends up with a competitor's ads running
against it.

We strictly do not allow pre-rolls, mid-rolls, post-rolls (any kind of
roll where the advert takes up the whole screen) or any kind of
advertiser's logo, badge, bug or pop-up in-stream.  We do, however, allow
promotion or cross-promotion of your own content and channels.

In order to comply with your partnership contract, please remove all
videos that contain sponsored content or advertising within 7 days of this
notice.

IMPORTANT: You must respond to this email after you correct the situation
of if you need more time to make the necessary changes to your account. If
you don't we will have to take action against your channel. Such action
may include removing the branded banner, removing advertising, removing
honors and the ability to appear in video browse pages, and making your
videos age-restricted. Repeated violations may result in exclusion from
the partnership program and
possible termination of your YouTube account.

Thanks for your prompt cooperation in this matter.

If you have an advertiser that is interested in your content, they can
find more information and contact us here: http://youtube.com/advertise

Sincerely,

Marie
The YouTube Team

I have been advertising Wix.com since they are my sponsor, so it looks like it got me in a heap of trouble.

I will be redoing LOTS of videos.  I think it's like just under a year's worth of work!

This is insanely ridiculous!

So, be prepared to watch a lot of re-runs.

The Deletion of my videos with Wix.com ads will be deleted within 1 week.  It looks like it will take me a while before NUMBER 100 video comes out.  8(

Oh my god, man!
That really - really - sucks...
I don't like YouTube recently... with some of the user options and all, they should go back to the older days

Holy ****! THAT WILL TAKE LONGER THAN A WEAK! Cruel youtube sad But you will have to move to another youtube account, just like mobilephone2003, he moved to MegaByteTV. But if you put in your channel something like "I HAVE MOVED TO ANOTHER CHANNEL CALLED XxCompHelpxX" then they might all subscribe to your new channel, then you can do all the videos again AND dont put in "I am sponsered by Wix.com" or anything like that, just keep to the video!

Hope this helps!

Wow Jerry, Im speechless, this is a huge disappointment. I guess its not possible to remove them, edit out the sponsor part, then re-upload? Well, Dang, YouTube sure has become something else, Very Strict. This situation is going to make me really be careful from now on. Thats like equal to your school accidentally losing a whole year of your Grades in their computer system, and having to make up for it all!(just an example). Well, Hope it all works out. sad

almost all of your videos have that!!
just take all of your videos, and edit out the ads,
alot of work but is it really worth losing subscribers, partnership, revenue, and all the other features?!?
you better resolve this!
or it will kill us fans!
